Tony Perotti uses natural and beautiful Italian vegetable tanned leather for all his products. As a method of preparing leather vegetable tanning is a very natural, green and traditional alternative to the modern and common chemical based processes.

Vegetable tanned leather is very hard wearing and will soften and age to a luxurious state. Marks and scratches will gradually wear out and vanish.

Tony Perotti products start out feeling quite firm - almost hard - but quickly soften and improve with age.

Vegetable tanned leather is more expensive to produce than common and lower grade leathers but well worth looking out for as it is highly recommended!
